This is useful for recording of video games at better performance using Nvidia based hardware. However some have said it's of lower quality but not by much :)

SHADOWPLAY IS AMAZING!!! i recorded playing AO with full maxed out physxx high txaa 1080p game ran 80+fps while recording it went down only 1-2fps, so smooth i think it got ability to record 120fps as well, cause when i viewed the video it indeed seem to have the smoothness of 120hz with 100+fps.
Wow .. it works really well! I'm impressed! Is there any way to make the recording indicator visible only when it is recording? I don't want that grey circle to be there all the time.
Works better than expected!!

Sounds great. I'm not too fussed by a slightly lower quality, as I push my render resolution down from 1080 to 720 to save on file-size (slow upload speed)

I assume Shadow Time is where it's passively recording, so if you forgot to press record then you can still save it? Probably the best feature about it.

Would need it to be able to record In-game audio and mic input audio though, any ideas if it's capable of that?

its not bad i suppose thing is if you set up fraps right and other recording software and your pc is decent enough there isnt much of a fps drop anyway.

the file size is decent but that s because of quality is worse more than likely.

I thought Fraps isn't meant to be particularly highly regarded these days? Read an article somewhere a while back rating most other bits of recording software over it.
Need to free up some disk space so I can actually record things again, not done it in ages.

Such a shame. Can't use this due to my cpu (q6600).
Seems a min i3-2100 or athlon II x4 630 is needed to run it.
I overclocked my cpu to 3.0ghz but still a no go.

Anyone knows if this can be bypassed or something?
