Thinking of upgrading to a 7990.
Is it worth it from a 6990?
Running a I7 950 overclocked to 4.2 gig.
Will my cpu bottle neck the 7990?
Mainly play BF4 BF3 etc at 1920 x 1080

Rest of specs in sig.
 
I went from a 6990 to 7990 its a massive difference I would say around 45% faster its quieter and uses less power, the 7990 is by far the fastest card out for battlefield 4, plus I sold my 6990 for over 200,
 
You won't regret getting a 7990. Massively faster than 6990. On ultra settings with my AMD CPU (which is supposed to bottleneck the 7990), I am getting almost 100fps average at 1080p.
 
i also went from 6990 to 7990, and WOW... well worth it and i payed 470 for mine and sold my 6990 for 150

it performs amazing for me and its bottlenecked by my i5 760, byt as you have a i7, it will be even better, also it holds 60fps all the time in bf4 on ultra :)

do it, you wont be disappointed i promise
