You will probably have to set the RAM voltage to 1.65. However, your other sticks should be able to run at this voltage. You cannot damage the RAM as the JEDEC spec says that all DDR3 RAM should be able to tolerate 1.9V before incurring permanent damage. I've also quite happily ran some cheap corsair 1.5V RAM sticks at 1.7V.

actaully my mistake was other way around

currently have the 1.65 in computer, so when i put in other 8gb of 1.5v just go to bios and put Dramm Voltage to 1.65?

yeah change it to 1.65 in the bios also make sure your frequency is set to the what they should be as well. most bioses default the memory to 1333Mhz when first installed also you might want to look at the timing to make sure they are correct as well

the two sets run with 1600 frequency and have timings of 9,9,9,24 they are identical except from just the voltage.

currently in system is the 1.65v checked bios and it runs at 1600 with 1.65 so when putting in 1.5v sticks i take it i wouldnt need to do anything due to bios stating 1.65v already?

1.65 is not a problem. Never has been with DDR3 and never will be!!! Just run all at 1.65 done!!!!!!!!!!!
