Damn you.

Firstly, my Anglia won't be on the road by then, and secondly, that's the same day as a ClubVR4 rolling road at Eurospec (which I'd already wanted to take the car to) - so unfortunately I'm out this time round.

Guess I'll be waiting until one later in the year!

:( Incredibly small chance the S15 will be ready on time, currently at the mercy of Nissan Japan, heaven only knows how long the parts will take to arrive.

reason we did it in march is so that there was a chance to do another later on towards summer.

Good idea, I shall be at the summer one!

Hope there is a summer trackday in the works also.

I shall be doing a lot of trackdays this year, but will mainly be at Donnington and Oulton Park, though I do want to visit Bedford as well. :)

Am maybe tempted by maybe something Euro, like a trip to Spa, but that takes some organising.

Spa would be great, would be good to do an OcUK only day but I guess we need a lot of people to sign up.

It never works m8, too many people say they will come and then drop out, people need to put their money where there mouth is and pay up. Plus people want it to be Summer but then complain it cost £300.

I could organise a day, but it would have to be book-a-track as they are happy to accept lower numbers to make it more or less an exclusive OcUK day.

Maybe what I could do is combine it with the Porsche day at Donnington, which normally happens in July so it would just be OcUK members and Porsche members from PH.

Interested?

P.S. Bookatrack have quite a few evenings in the Summer, which are £145, maybe more suitable? Though I do find with evenings everyone is out on track with it being shorter, so a little more rushed and no one wants to give passenger rides as they are focused on their own time, whereas a full day people are more chilled and happy to leave their car parked up whilst enjoying other peoples. So a full day makes far more sense for an OcUK event.

Yassss! Will have to check as I know there's a rolling road at Tuning Developments that I'm apparently going to that month as well as a possible sprint day at Curborough.

1. Gibbo - M3 with CSL Exhaust system
2. RJK - S2000
3. Nathwraith - Honda Tree Hugger
4. Arcaded - MR2 Turbo
5. Cannonball - Fiat Stilo
6. TehBluebear - Needlessly loud Starlet

And Donnington/Oulton Park trackdays have caught my interest, really want to track the GT once I get a rear ARB on it.

Good. :)
You got understeer issues at present then?

I understand, would rather pay more for less people on track and no people in their 500 quid demolition derby track only cars.

July sounds good for Donnington, Bedford is pretty close to me so if you go there let us know.

And if Spa is on I have friends in the Ardennes so would work great for me!

Never been caning it enough to really get bad understeer, but the backend tends to feel quite... floaty at times.

Well a stiffer rear-end will dial out understeer and promote over-steer, so your floaty rear-end could be something else, but I guess it depends what you mean by floaty, if you don't mean oversteer than an ARB is worth a try. :)

Given how many times OcUK frequents that place I still find it amazing that they'll bump everyones price up if 9 people show instead of 10.

Would like to come (especially since I have had quite a lot of work done to the car since last time and want to see what it makes now) but I have a hopefully epic drunken weekend scheduled for Aberystwyth that weekend so can't make it then.

I find the lack of tea and biscuits more disturbing.
