Bethesda has confirmed that Wolfenstein: The New Order will run at 1080p and offer 60 frames per second on both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

There should either be some hefty image quality differences or the PS4 version is getting performance capped.

Amazing to think this engine is over 3 years old but this is the second game to use it. Man Zenimax suck...

It'll be interesting to see if the PS4 version has any additional enhancements such as higher resolution textures, anisotropic filtering or FSAA.

Not really suprising it hits 60fps easily the idtech5 engine is highly optimised under the hood to hit 60fps (when your not running into hardware compatibility issues which won't be a problem on consoles).

If its like with RAGE then the PS4 will probably be streaming highres textures sooner and/or higher scene coverage though how "highres" that really is is another matter. The engine automatically balances streaming resolution with the framerate target.

Never gonna happen - idtech engine doesnt get licensed externally ever since Zenimax bought id...

: - ) taking down the officers before they alarm anyone.. Best way to play the game if you want to get through some levels on higher difficulties lol

I'm nearing the end now, still got a lot of collectables to find, but very good game. Gets better, both gameplay and graphically the further into the game you get..

It's starts off pretty poorly, but gets VERY good.

One of my fave games this gen easily. Wasn't expecting much at all but totally impressed. I see why it's got a number of very positive reviews.

I'm enjoying this also, started off a bit slow but really enjoying it now.

Looks lovely in parts.

Just got the 7gb update to.

Anybody know what the update does? Playing last night and I couldn't see anything wrong with it.

I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure there's only 1/2 the game on the disc. The "update" is actually just the other half of the game

Picked this up at the weekend, Occupied edition for the same price as regular, and loving it. Only a few hours in, but a great fun shooter, pretty and with decent enemy AI.
The in-box goodies are fun too....what if?!?!?!

This game is really making me rage in some places. At one point there was a check point and I essentially restarted in a corner of a room with loads of enemies around and I had a couple of weapons and very little ammo. Cue me dying about 10 times in a row :mad:
