So Corsair have now lifted NDA on this case. Looks very promising to me. Mid tower case which has the classic Obsidian appearance. Seems to complete the series now fitting in between the 350D mATX and 750D full tower. Can see this being quite popular for those who want ATX form factor but not quite the size of the 750D (although admittedly not that much smaller). Not sure many people who want a full custom loop would go for it over it's bigger brother though. Pricing looks quite competitive too I think, sub £100. :)

The 650D is in the middle. The 450D is just a reworked model of it to make you spend more money on the same product :p

The price is its only benefit

Looks good initially (IMO), then as you watch the reviews kind of slides...

Totally agree. Having not heard anything about it's release prior to today, first impressions were very good. Now having read a few reviews and watched the videos on You Tube you can clearly see that Corsair have really cut back on the features and some of the design, particularly the inside layout and cut-outs leaves a lot of questions as why? Yes it has an attractive sub £100 price but I can see why. Compare that to the Fractal Arc Midi R2 (which imo is it's direct rival competitor) it can be have for less than £70! Relatively, that's a big gap. Not too sure on it now.

Grill isnt the most attractive but it's definately needed! The 350D suffers cool air in-take due the solid panel - nice to see an SSD bracket around the back too.

Looks like a revised edition of 350D

I used a 350D in a build for a mate which is almost identical in looks to the 450D, its ok but i can't stand the way the case looks after you remove the 5.25 blanking plates. Anything you put in the 5.25 optical bays will look odd as it won't sit flush with the case, that part of the case is a bad design.

I'd go for the Phanteks Luxe.

Funnily enough i would rather have that front grill than whats on the 750d, wonder if it will be sold seperately and if it actually fits

Sweet - finally a date.

I'm all over this 450D it literally looks perfect for my requirements.

2x SSD brackets round back of mobo is a touch of class for people who need extra storage but want to do a serious watercooled rig.

Well done Corsair you guys are on fire atm!
