Guys I have a weird issue with my Leadex 1200W. I need a 4 pin molex connector to power my NZXT fan controller that comes with the case. The modular psu specs say that in the box there should be

One cable > 2 x SATA + 2 x 4pins Molex
One cable > 3 x 4pins Molex + 1 x FDD

The 3 x 4pins molex + 1 x fdd is nowhere in the box and I am 100% sure that the box was sealed when it come from ocuk.

These are the cables I have left in the box

The first cable on the right is double male and the nzxt fan controller molex is also male. It does not go in any of the sockets in the psu modular sockets.

When I phoned ocuk and talked to the support they said this is not even remotely possible that a cable is not in the box. When I asked if this could be supplied by them they said its not possible unless I prove that it was missing in the box. I am not crazy and I am sure after 15 years experience building systems I know my stuff very well.

Now I am in a position where I cannot connect the remainder of my case fans without supplying power to the fan controller. I emailed Superflower but so far no response from them.

Just phone them again and tell them that no proof is needed.

This is the vendor's responsibility to ensure that any accessories are not missing from a factory sealed unit before they send out.

Personal experience: I bought a set of Ducky keycaps from OcUK, item arrives, then it turns out they set has 2 M keys but no N key... Sound weird but it does happen.

Mine came with the 3xMolex+1xFDD cable fwiw.

I didn't get the 6 and 8pin pcie to molex cables on the far right in the OP pic though.

That makes me 99.9% sure this was a packaging error from superflower side not ocuk fault. But ocuk should send me the cable themselves I should not have to phone 2 times and they tell me sorry this is not our fault you could have misplaced it or you need to provide proof that when you opened the box the cable was not missing.

Like how I am supposed to prove that the cable was not in the box when I opened it? Do I really have to take a photo of every box I open so I have proof ?

Now it looks like Superflower have quite a random packaging scheme lol

Honestly I should have gone with my own guts and bought Seasonic since all the other systems I do for my clients have been running Seasonic psu.

After all this hassle I would not bother anymore with Superflower. I do not care how many records does 8pack breaks with these superflower psu I will go for peace of mind and trust Seasonic. Reliability is not just in the unit itself but also in what you supply in the box for your clients.
