The problem with those gaming results is that...just like the good old comparison of i3 vs the APU, it results are based on the iGPU rather than the CPU performance with a dedicated graphic card.
 
This is what I've been waiting to see. It's so tempting but my g3220 is still fine lol.
 
if intel dont replace my faulty i7 ill be getting one of these for a starter chip and going z97 they look good for the money is it a limited thing like so many to be sold or will they be widely available

They're not listed as 'limited' edition (so there should be no problem with quantity) but I would guess as they're an 'anniversary' edition they'll only be available for a limited time.
 
What an awesome little chip, pair it up with something better than a 750ti (Which let the benchmark down with that chip) and you've got an awesome budget gaming PC.
