K70 Blue Switch, Blue LED

Oh dear!

I'm waiting for my brown switch blue LED and sincerely hope they are blue!

Is the the board silver or black brushed? I've only ever seen black brush with red LED and silver brush with blue LED.

Yeah, I would have gone with blues but i tried them and reckon the click would have been quite annoying for those in the room next to mine.

My siblings complained about the Sidewinder X4 and that's not even mechanical!

You can buy the o-rings to quieten it down a touch, although I cant vouch to how effective they are.
 
The description on the site says blue, odd. Maybe bring it up with customer service if one of the OcUK staff don't see this thread? Seems an odd oversight in the description - usually it's just typos in descriptions that they occasionally make mistakes on.

Ditto ordered to the same brown switch, I spoke to ocuk over the phone when I pre ordered just to make sure these where going to be blue as the old model number ended 50 rather than 59

Time will tell when it arrives

Also waiting on the same brown switches and 'blue' LED's fingers crossed!
 
The website has now updated some of the description to Red LEDs within the product description, but still left Deep Blue in the specifications.

Doesn't look good and will find out when mine arrives this afternoon.

Looking forward to hearing from OcUK following these website updates since ordering.

Hey Damo, if loads of people return them, can you re-advertise them at the same price? I would have bought one of these if I'd known it had red LEDs but bought a black one instead 2 days ago!!!
 
Mine came this morning, wasn't happy but will live with it for now.. I love the keyboard as its my first mechanical (browns)

I called ocuk this morning and told them about it.. they apologised for it.. I suppose I may sell this keyboard later on and grab the RGB when they release just hope they make it with a usb pass through
