A nice weekend in the country

Last weekend we visited Inman Valley, where I led a church youth group camp. It's a gorgeous place with stunning scenery.

If you're driving down the A13, make sure you stop at the Mount Compass Tavern for dinner; great food in generous portions at reasonable prices, and very family friendly!

We had a terrific time, and our little pups got their first taste of traditional toasted marshmallows:

From working with the Scouts I know how much kids love to play / cook with fire
