Confirmed. NBA2K15 PC will offer PS4/XB1 graphics and mode for mode.

Thank you 2K.

This is a MASSIVE step forward for the franchise on PC.

Day one purchase for me, will use the money saved by not purchasing PES 2015 and their "****" PC version.

While the PC version of NBA 2K14 matched the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, 2K15 will exceed the visuals offered on current consoles. "Gamers will be able to experience the full breadth of new modes and features found on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with even more graphical fidelity," 2K Sports said.

I really wish people would stop with the "Next Gen" nonsense. That aside it's good to hear they're not compromising the PC version to make the consoles look more powerful than PCs.

I bought 2k13 a while ago and just couldn't get it to work. Doesn't inspire me with confidence with this one, which is a shame as I've fancied a basketball game for some time (not played one since NBA Jam in the '90s).

BTW, are these games quite fast paced, or more of a "sim"? (would prefer fast, rather than clunky "real")

The previous games have been fine at their core for me (no crashing problems etc), the problems have been the lack of parity with the console versions, missing game modes, nerfed online play.

This is awesome news.

Regarding the gameplay, I suggest watching some gameplay videos.

For me, it is an Arcade/Simulation hybrid.

It depends on how you play it.

Personally, I put the sliders (options) into simulation mode and play fairly slowly and it works out fairly realistic.

You can however rush play and try to brute force it, but it won't always work.

I had a crack at VPNing this... And thought I had it! Used VPNfly, loaded up steam and it started unpacking my game (installing). Once that had done I open up the game but it shuts down after the first cut scene! So Close!
