Im after a bit of advice with the above problem. A few days ago i started to clock my 4790k. Set vcore to 1.32, vccin, (cpu input voltage) to 2.00. Basically a quick n dirty oc to run a few benchmarks. Passed asus real bench, unigine heaven 4 and 3dm fire strike. Last night i decided to try a lower vcore, set 1.300 in bios, vccin at 1.8. 0.5 above vcore as reccomended on a few guides ive read. Ram at XMP of 2400, 10-11-11-31, 2T, cache at stock of 4000mhz.

Played a few rounds of both bf3 and bf4, eventually the game would freeze in some rounds followed by a bsod in one with the error code of 0XD1. From reading code lists on here this can be imc voltages. So upped SA, IOA and IOD to 1.18. Still freezing so bumped the above and PCH to 1.200v. Doing so allowed the game to run much longer, but froze at the results screen at rounds end. Screenshots of bf3/4 errors from event viewer below.

Current bios ai oc settings.

Testing cpu stability it's really hard I know it from my experience from I7 4770k as I run prime for 12h stable but I got bsod after few minutes when gaming. I would recommend to drop cpu ratio from 47 to 46 and test if you have any crashes or bsod. By the way what temps are you getting with this overclock?

Im not using anything like p95/ibt/LinX as temps are too high even at stock, (mid 90's). Just completed 5 passes of asus real bench with a max cpu temp of 81c. 64 - 74c in games, high temps not helped in games by my two heat dumper gtx 780's. Only blue screen ive had wasthe 0XD1 last night. No whea errors in event viewer to indicate a lack of vcore.

VRING, (cache on asus boards) ive left on auto as i havent touched the cache clock, vccin is at 1.800. Just finished a round of bf4 a moment ago and no problems. First times it happened was after 2 mins into the game. Last one was after 20 mins ono.
