Hi All

I finally have to change my Cooler Master 690 case I have had for a few years, i have been looking but there are too many to choose from!

Space is not a problem and this will be located under my desk so don't need fancy LED's etc, a nice clean case is best, don't care for a window either.

I will need space for:-

4 x SSD's
2 x 3.5" HDD's
2 x MSI R9 290X Gaming
ATX MOBO
Corsair H80
DVD writer

The quieter the better :)

Thanks in advance

Enthoo Pro? That 200mm fan up front should provide decent cooling while being quiet. Plus it has plent of room for drives. And its black :D

YOUR BASKET
1 x Phanteks Enthoo Pro Mid Tower Enthusiast Case without Window £79.99
Total : £89.59 (includes shipping : £8.00).

+1

Not much beats it for £80

Fans should be optimised as well with custom curves etc, just as important if not more as having a sound-dampened case

Would love that if they did black, white doesn't go with the rest of the setup sadly :(

Antec do them in black,

Another good case,

YOUR BASKET
1 x Corsair Carbide 330R Silent Mid Tower Case - Black (CC-9011024-WW) £69.95
Total : £79.55 (includes shipping : £8.00).

Both the P280 and this Corsair are "sound" dampened cases, so probably serve you better than the Enthoo.

The P280 Is exceptionally well made, I've used one before and can testify to its quietness.

All the fans are "tri cool" so have speed adjusters for low or high.

Hopefully that will help you decide in making the right choice:)

Of all the cases recommended, I'd say the 540 is the best choice for your needs. Those cards need a good supply of air from the front of the case and most of the others here are pretty restricted in that area.

Link isn't working, also the front fan on the Enthoo Pro is far from quite, I had to change both the fans in my Enthoo Pro to AF120s. It is a good case overall though :)

Did you have the fan plugged into a controller to drop the speed? I have the Enthoo Evolv sat next to me on my desk, also using a 200mm fan up front (plugged into the PWM hub) and its barely audible.

This could also be because of the front panel design of the Evolv though, its nowhere near as open as the pro.

I bought the 540 in the end and I am not disappointed, it is on the large side but working on it and fitting components is simple :)
