Sister had her iPhone 6 stolen from work last week.
Obviously there is a device password and the Apple ID on the handset.
It's my understanding that if they wipe the phone, when it boots up it will prompt for the apple id password before it's usable?
So why do they bother to steal iPhones? Surely there must be underground ways of selling off the phone and for it to be worth while to both the thief and the buyer?
