Hi Guys

I fancy doing something a bit different.

We will provide you with Monsoon Chain Gun compression fittings of your choice and a Monsoon Reservoir of your choice.

This isnt limited to just one person but will go to as many people as I see fit.

What I need is the following:

Inclusion of these products in your build.

Nice photos of the products in an application.

Any people with youtube/review/unboxing followings etc would be preferred.

Even if you just fancy doing a mod or swapping your current loop out to include some new products.

Let me know what you need in this thread, give me some examples of your work.

I want to hear from everyone.

I'm doing my first ever loop I could give you a review from a first timers experience at watercooling

Corsair carbide 540
Powercolor r9 290 not sure if will be in loop or not
Asus maximus ranger
I7 devils canyon
Cheers Nathan

I would be interested. I have just temporarily built my system up with a Coolit unit and was thinking about to upgrading to a full loop. I have a Air 540, I don't suppose there has been any bayres(Or pump combi) that has been made to be mounted vertically? Also I only run an older GTX580 3Gb card, any idea if there are still any full cover waterblocks available for this?

This is my first ever on-going watercooled computer. I am using monsoon rotary fittings and monsoon hard tube as well as their bender tools kit. Too bad they don't have tube reservoir as I am not a fan of bay reservoir.

Their hard tube and bender kit are very easy to use. Quality of Monsoon hard tube is, at least for me, a little better and surprisingly cheaper than Primochill hard tube.

Nice to see an opportunity like this from you.
I'm unable to attempt this, but would be keen to apply for something similar in the future.
I look forward to other people's design ideas

Is there an end date to this?

I wouldn't mind trying out acrylic tubing.

I wouldn't be able to rebuild my loop till summer though due to project deadlines and exams coming up.

My first watercooling build is in my sig, it's actually a little different than my last picture uploaded, just havent put it up.

In terms of equipment needed, would need the monsoon bending kit, acrylic tubing and the fittings.

Also, in terms of having good photos, I only have access to my OnePlus One camera unfortunately, no fancy DSLR stuff :(

This is a great idea.

Suppose i might as well though out a suggestion on the subject.

As we all know to become a recognised modder take time and MONEY and mainly an OPPORTUNITY to prove yourself. Its guarenteed that there are modders out there who just dont have the type of money needed to make a build that STAND OUT like the rest and will therefore go unnoticed.

Its very hard for a company/manufacture to be able to "afford" to help every wanabee. However an alternative would be good. Meet in the middle approach, for example.

Modder A Needs £1000 of parts to Finish his build.
Modder A can only Afford £600
Company A Sponosors the other £400

A great variation that OCUK could do to give some people a CHANCE would be to offer ALL products needed for the build at COST price. THis could offer significant savings to the modder themselves but at same time offer exposure to the company involved resulting in repeat business, or even help them achieve future sponsorship with the
manufactures directly.

#rant over xD

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but how compatible is Monsoon Hardline tubes with the Primochill Revolver Fittings?

they are perfectly fine for now as they have the same measurement. But from what I feel, monsoon hardline acrylic tube is a very very little smaller than primochill acrylic tube. Therefore when assembling it into the fitting, it is easier.

I'm going to be moving my Z77 MATX from a Parvum S2 to the Phanteks Evolv. I have some WC gear I've purchased for this build but would love more support!

Build link in sig!

currently gathering the parts to watercool my rig and intend to do a project log here.
I infact need a reservoir and fittings sadly I don't have any previous work to show but will be using my camera(D40 DSLR) to document the whole watercooling process including mods to the case I may make it will be a soft tube loop with the spec in my sig

Current parts aquired:
CPU block
Pump + top
240MM rad
Drainage fittings+valve

The idea is first to make a tidy cpu loop as still deciding what to do about my GPUS and getting blocks for them will be virtually impossible now after doing some digging I couldn't find any that would fit

The red fittings http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-166-MO&groupid=962&catid=2531&subcat=2533 would compliment the build extremely well
as for monsoon reservoir it looks like you need a D5 or you're out of luck unfortunately I bought a DDC 18w so just compression fittings would be required unless you can block off the back of the res/attach other pumps but that seems unlikely
however if the reservoir and fittings come as a package I'm sure I could work something out

Finger's crossed :)

great idea there, also , this could give loads of others a view of water-cooling this way.
my next build will be acrylic in 900d (april/May).
have watched a few videos on you-tube regarding this. like any thing else you try for 1st time, be odd mistakes. at 1st thought, this would be way out of my league if tryed, but after watching it, , said that my next build :)

abui1806, Any chance u could give an idea how much tubing you used please ?

Love the Noctua so its being re-homed in the missus' PC when I build it but I need a WC loop first.
We have an old DSLR but I think my Note 4 takes better pics.

Edit: After a chat with the missus regarding her build, I was allowed to buy a i7 4790k and Z97-UD3H BK and the RAM last night . Have ordered the radiator and a fan too (realised I didn't need 3 fans on a dual rad so it's Corsair SP120 to go with the one I have).

I think this is an excellent idea, those Chain gun fittings look amazing from what I have seen and I am eager to see what ppl can come up with them.
