getting annoyed with Nvidia now

You are not alone >> https://forums.geforce.com/default/...-driver-feedback-thread-released-2015-06-22-/

Some of the latest comment highlights..

Everything after 341.44 is complete garbage for me. When I saw that the nvidia driver service lags during shutdown with EVERY GODDAMN driver update past 341.44, I didn't even bother to try out the other games to look for performance issues because I got them outside of gaming alone.

men this driver is the mother of all **** up´s they just should realese a hotfix driver or beta , insted of certified driver whats the point the only certain is this driver is certified to mess up all systems
every body says amd drivers or this and that at least they manage to get 3 sets of drivers out on two to 3 days for this mess at least they try , this driver clearly has no suport for the latest batman game

Three drivers later, here I am still waiting for the day I can play Witcher 3 with my Gtx 670 SLI without crashing and Kernel stopped responding crap every hour.

Extremely annoyed,

Crashes occur without any browsers open, no overclock no nothing.

Fail. Pure fail. Shame on you nvidia.

Hope they get around to fixing these issues, really pleased I have not experienced any issues with my setup at all at the moment. Hours of constant gaming, two 980's at a constant 80 to 95% load with not a single stutter in the Witcher 3, The Crew and others, browsing the web with Firefox 39 with GPU acceleration and many tabs open works fine.

Left my PC running for two weeks while I was on holiday (GPU driver 353.06). Firefox open with a few tabs, many background processes running but nothing that was putting any load on any component. When I came back everything was fine. No crashes of any kind while I was away. I instantly stated playing games for a few hours and everything was fine.

Really hope that doesn't change when my 980 Ti G1's arrive.

For over a year, every driver Nvidia has released (beta and official) has been installed over the top of the last one.

The last time I had any serious issues with the GPU was with the GTX 680 and the red screen of death, and that was only because nvidia changed how software read the bios.

Nice name did you used to like ATi/AMD cards?

Also I've had no issues or crashes at all with any of these drivers and that's downloading/installing them through GFE without any issue.

I don't use Chrome but i do have it installed.
I use MSI Afterburner.
I disable Nvidia Streaming service every time i install new drivers.
Windows 8.1 N

No offence but i personally just click custom and only install phyx and the driver the rest is just clutter but anyway the best way to update drivers has always been get them and install yourself.
