Morning
After playing around with a previous evga hadron case I loved it
However I found that cooling is very limited
Having said that with NVidia gpu and i5 inside, it wont go above 70c
I wanted to go an extra mile with that case and so I did..
The original-looking EVGA hadron, wanted to make sure you see this before I destroyed it!
Insides in its original state
First I had to cut this metal strip in order for the case to close, else water radiator would not let me do that
After playing around with plexiglass I decided to keep it sealed and ordered smoke tint and replaced it
HDD case removed, few rivets to deal with. Front shield also removed
Case is sprayed with Black matt finish paint
with the front shield removed, there are perforated holes instead of a solid plate
Front plated repainted. Then I had to cut a slot for a 120mm Silverstone fan grille and also drill few holes for the screws
case sprayed, repainted and ready. Even sprayed the wires
Extras that are needed for the job
flat sata power and data cables in order to screw the ssd on the side of the case
psu taken apart and original fan replaced with 2 other fans as with the previous build
As mentioned above, flat cables and couple of holes on the case - sorted
core components for the build!
Chrome grills and akasa apache 1500rpm fans sprayed
mobo and mammoth card are in!
Followed by fans
and watercooler
Fits nicely
Velcro lego brick in between the card and psu, to hold the weight
finished product - back
side-front
side
And that's pretty much it
I hope someone likes this, any input is always welcomed!
Thanks for reading this..
