Hi,

since the birth of my baby girl my pc/mancave has been lost! My pc is now on my living room tv and i actually love it!

However, i have been keeping an eye out for the corsair lapdog and cant seem to find a release date or narrow window for its release. Looks a fab bit of kit!

Last time I checked, they should be available in stores towards the end of Q4. I don't know if that's been pushed back, but from what I've been hearing, they are in the last stages of finishing the final version before moving it in mass production. I hope soon though, as I've been seeing lots of inquiries about it already.

I've recently tried a prototype myself for a couple of days, I'm pretty surprised that it was really comfortable. I thought it was going to be awkward having a mini desk on your lap, but it didn't feel that way after a few hours of gaming.

Does that hump in the bottom start to affect comfort after a while? I understand its presence if, say, a battery bank needs to be placed there but not sure why it is in the current wired version.

really cant wait for this product, will sort of my living room gaming perfectly. Any idea on timescale to start mass production to it hitting e-tailers?

I'm tempted by this as well. Looks as though Razer have something similar due as well which could be out before (doesn't look as good though).

Wouldn't a nerdytec couchmaster still be a better and more stable solution for playing with keyboard and mouse on the sofa?

i'd be tempted if i could find a UK retailer. Price seems high for what it is (3 cushions and a usb hub).

I'll probably get it though if the lapdog isnt out before end of year
