-HOWTO- Move Windows 10 Games from one drive to another.

Not sure how many you already know this, but I just found out you can actually move individual Apps from one drive to another without changing the full storage location.

Open Windows 10 Settings, Click System, then apps and features

I wish they would allow you to move to Mapped Drives / Network Shares.

Have all my games on my Xpenology NAS on SSDs, everything plays fine and is as fluid as local. I know I can create iSCSI luns and map that way but I'd prefer general storage I think.

No problem mate, this will come in handy a lot for me. I like to not delete games I have downloaded once finish playing. I move them to a hard drive.

If I move Forza to D:, then format windows on C:.....will be pick it up again?

Handy thing about this there is no DRM once you move it that's it works straight away!

How many of us on a PC enthusiast forum play Windows store games to that extent?

Being able to do this for standard games would be useful with no "faffing".

One for the future maybe? Forza apex has really showed just how well they can run.
Microsoft just need to change some things and windows 10 games will be decent enough I feel.

Nope only what you install from the windows 10 store.
