Hi All, first post sorry if not relevant but I could see anywhere if it had been done before, I finally got round to putting an all in one cooler on my RX 480.
I didn't fancy the Frankenstein look of the suggested install so I tried to keep the original shell.
Cut away some of the plastic housing and the aluminium sub frame, 25c temp idle, not had a chance to fully test or OC yet.
I wonder if the pump blocks too much of the air flow to the VRM?

140 - yep I only realised I didn't have an internal pic once I installed it back in to the machine :D ill pop it out tonight and take a pic

** Ive since dropped the CORE back to 1375Mhz, even tho it did pass stress and various other games for some reason Overwatch didn't like it - been running it at 1375/2200 for a few days now with no problems at all.

That would be great, got one in my basket along with a cheap dremel, did you have to buy any additional vram cooling pads?

no I didn't buy any extra, the aluminium frame still covers and the airflow is good when it is enclosed plus the Arctic Hybrid comes with a big heat sync for the back of the card which helps vent off extra heat.

haha dremels are great you will find uses for it, if you need a hand when chopping off bits give me a shout, but you will see how obvious it is once you have it apart, used a cutting wheel for most of it then switched to the sanding wheel to tidy up and get a fine edge.
Good luck!

Hi, I did the same as you, but with Arctic hybrid III 120, and works fine !, the only thing I had to adjust in watttman, the fan speed to improve vrm temps, Thanks for the guide mehoyal !

With ambient temperature of 30º And without side cover put

what speed do you need to run the fans at to cool the VRMs? How does the noise compare to the stock reference?

Why haven't I noticed this post before?

I love this!

I LOVE the tidy look but with masses of Heat being removed rather than dumped back into the case.
Excellent :)

I use 1206 min 2402 objective, does not create additional noise.

I change the fan order, and now decrease 5 degrees

In load:

room temperature 29º
gpu diode: 49º
vrm 58º
gpu fan 2400 rpm
gpu clock 1266 mhz
without side cover put

i'm using water cooling because the graphics card was reaching up to 90 degree or more, i'm not interested on overclocking, but in the future if it is profitable, will look for use crossfire, greetings !!

Nice mod, really they should retail these faceplates or include support to add but I guess thats a bit unlikely :)
