Software to record iPhone / iPad?

Hi all,

Anyone know the best way of recording the screen of an iPhone / iPad with audio from its microphone?

I do not have a Mac, and noticed Mac users have an easy way of connecting the lighting cable and opening QuickTime. Anything similiar (hardware/software wise) for Windows users?

AirServer should do this, it has a trial too.

Only captures the screen, can't get it to record the audio from the microphone at the same time

Can you use a sound recorder app and then sync the two afterwards?

Guess I could, would just be handy for it to do it all in one like it can on the Mac...

Wow, thanks for the AirServer tip. I've been wanting something to record my iPad screen on Windows for aeons. Didn't think it was possible! Shame the trial doesn't allow you to record though. I don't know whether my ancient Core 2 Duo system will be able to cope.

Around this time last year there was a an app called Vidyo that let you record on your iOS device by spoofing as an airplay client. I think it lasted about a day on the App Store before Apple removed it. I've read that it's the best.
