I see my post in the first 2 links lol.

Hope you get it sorted tropicola as i can only guess your pain as you have been waiting a hell of a long time to get this sorted and to then pay for upgrade . i never actually had that Auto-detect box come up on mine just crashes on 99% of games . with other boxes saying the graphics card was removed .

I know its not easy to say this as i was ready to smash mine up as the more i played the more i got angry as it just crashed , and when i could play like a 1 hour session then thinking it was ok ..BAM ..crashed and im like ,,i paid £2300 for this heap of **** ! sent it back then bought the 7 series from else where and it was a blessing in disguise , im not one for thinking or saying things happen for a reason but im actually glad my first one failed as i wouldn't have this 7RF which not being bios is just a wonderful machine . hang in there bro dont play it any more i know it will be hard but the more you play the more you will get angry and do something that cant be undone .

I was sooo angry with MSI when mine was crashing just wasnt getting no answers .

I'm sure Damien on the forums can contribute to this thread, as he has been through this a couple of times.

MSI has had feedback about this issue for a while (at least a couple of months (maybe as soon as the Pascal GT72VR's were in retail?)).

So maybe MSI could let us know what they have managed to work out the problem to be and which serial numbers are affected?

I worked it out that it was July/august 2016 builds , the first couple of batches .

not seen Damien on here for a while .

upgrade to a 1080 7rf i went back to MSI

they haven't diagnosed the old laptop though thats going back tomorrow.

but looking at the results on google, seems a hardware issue to me....

although i htink there was an update to dragon centre and a new nvidia driver has just flashed up as we speak (from nvidia not MSI) so perhaps give that a whirl?

Yeah just tried them.

Finally managed to record it too.

Did overclockers sort you out or direct to MSI?

I got else where but I got the 1070 through the upgrade program and they upgraded me to 1080 free cus of their mess up.

If you bought your laptop and its within return I would do that fast and get a non msi 1070 or a 1080 if u can afford.

Failing that if its outside of returns you will need to contact msi and get it fixed under warranty rma etc
