pagefile

i lost a ton of space on my c drive and i was advised to use an app called Windirstat. and it shows a huge box in middle called pagefile.sys at 23gb. please can someone tell me if i safely delete this and if it might cause any problems?

Imagine that you have an application which uses all your RAM and then some. As such it uses the pagefile. Where is the best location for your pagefile? SSD, M.2, or Optane? Does PCIe v4 make a difference? Has anyone done tests?
