0.22 Calibre Nail Gun ammo still available?

Does anyone know if you can still buy 0.22 calibre singe shot nailgun ammo in the UK? I've tried looking on Google but it's all in the US or long out of stock. Are we even allowed these anymore of is this another nanny state issue? I wanted to do some DIY today but I've run out of ammo

I could be wrong but I don't think regular blanks have enough power to drive nails into wood/metal/concrete. The nailgun rounds have velocity's of 100-400 m/s depending on grade.

No your spot on, seems they're more powerful than launching blanks.
As bremen1874 mentioned eBay bay has quite a few suppliers seem to be mostly 6.3mm though rather than .22 5.5mm. Might be worth messaging one of them.
