This will be my next mod, subject to minor changes in the final positions of the non watercooling kit.
This would be best considered a place holder post since work, family and financial commitments will make this rather slow going.

I am sure this has been done before but it will suit my needs well.
Anyway, some drawings, none of which are to scale, feel free to critiques or suggestions.
(MODS let me know if the images are too large and I will redo the sketch-upd, I tried to make it nearer 8*600 but the text becomes unreadable)

Front view, not decided about styling although it will almost certainly make a feature of Mayhems Aurora (this feature would NOT be part of the loop)

Component side, fan sizes are subject to change.....though probably not, as are the positions of the optical and hard drives.

Cooling side, final positioning of the PSU and 5.25" bay items also subject to slight change.

The top is what it is, needs no explanation. The bottom will be similar except that the fan cut outs will be as open as possible with wire grilles.
As you can see from the images it will, by default, take 2 * 360mm radiators with the option of easily adding a third or making a 360*2 and 360*1 dual loop set up ( either option would allows modification to 420mm radiators). The only major watercooling constraint would be if adding a third radiator to the component side of the set up, in which case I would be limited to a total radiator + fan assembly thickness of 100mm.
So, basically, this will be created by welding or riveting two identical cases together. There will be a custom bezel, built from scratch, which will hide the fact that this is two cases joined together, the top panel will also be custom as will the back.
I have two old Gigabyte cases which will be the victims, however they currently house my system as the mod intends (but just rough fitted together to check what would work), so I will have to rehouse that lots before I start.
Bear in mind that this will be entirely about the case. The installed computer gubbins arent important, I dont change hardware as often as I used to but the intention is that this case will provide a basis for pretty much any hardware upgrades later on. As it is it will take any ATX board, but can also be modified to take the EATX boards (a la SR-2) and any current GPU/s.
