007, bloodstone

I was tempted to get it, just as something to pass the time, but the GT review doesn't rate it much - says it's a rental at best.

It looks very bland, visually. Like they've just used a single colour filter for the entire game.

I thought it looked alright, it looks like a clone of the new splinter cell in a way, and that wasn't too bad visually.

Hey ho, I still have a shed load of games to play, maybe it'll be a bargain bin pick up in a year or so :D

well i picked it up. actually its superb visually, gameplay is a bit by the numbers, but really good, cover sytem etc, excellent
Voice acting top notch, typical bond game full of great set pieces and a lot of fun:)

Has anyone here played this yet? Is it decent?

I thought it was one of the best games I've played this year at least.

Yes, you will need to go on the hardest setting, but its enjoyable. The movement/cover system/aiming + shooting mechanics are very fluid. They remind me of Uncharted in terms of the feel.

Visually, looks good for sure. More detail than a lot of the 'big' games bother to put in.

I prefer 3rd person shooters over first person like COD et al.

Hand to hand combat is simple yet very pleasing also. :D

This still using the same call of duty engine as the last bond game?

I quite enjoyed QoS, will probably rent Bloodstone soon.

One thing I have heard is that the multiplayer is dead.
