Goldeneye 007 will be out on the Wii this holiday, so expect to see Daniel Craig jumping into a tank and driving up to the airplane before too long.. Is this remake what you guys have always wanted from a new Goldeneye? Are you folks interested in picking it up and taping cardboard to your TV like it's 1997?

I thought it was a bit cringeworthy to be honest. When Reggie said 'Golden' and it shot to the focus groups, I'm sure a lot of people (myself included) expected a VC release of GoldenEye by hook or crook. Then it became clear it wasn't, and I still hoped it might be chucked in at some point.

To be honest, it looked poor.

Shame due to license issues, they are using the Daniel Craig Bond though.

Nevertheless, this is good news for some nostalgia. Graphically it may look like crap, but if the gameplay remains just like the original, who gives a damn!

This thread will go down as the biggest let down in gaming thread history, To say I am disappointed just doesn't express the kick in the sacks i got when i realised this wasn't a genuine remake of Goldeneye.

I'm really looking forward to this, if it atleast gets good reviews I'll buy it as they know not to mess with the game as it's a cult classic. Remaking it the right way and it could be good!

sounded good in priniciple...but you can already see in the video that its turning into every bond game released after the original bond game. ie ****.
