Hi all in the middle of building my 40 series rig and just discovered my hx1200 won't fit in the 011 evo. The cable management hooks are blocking it from pushing in.
Anyone had this issue, or would I be better off returning the hx1200 and opting for a high wattage sfx power supply instead. Thanks

I’ve the same case and use a HX1000 and it fits just fine.
Aren’t the HX1200 & 1000 the same size?
You can fit the PSU in 2 positions in that case, which slot are you using?
Bottom slot, can't even get the wires clear of the cable management clips, have had to bend the clips out of shape to fit wires in but still can't get PSU flush to fit the side panel back on. Think the 1200 is slightly longer than 1000 but not 100% sure

Thanks I managed to squeeze it in there have another problem now however. My 10 unifans are not spinning in the BIOS and I'm unable to install Windows as it's bringing up a CPU FAN error. I understand I need the Lian Li software to get the fans going but can't get this till I get into Windows obviously. Any workarounds?

o11 evo will take a 220mm psu (it's on the site specs), the hx1200 is 200 so should fit but I suspect the issue is more to do with the cables, I found the corsair cables a bit of a pain to route on my rm850x because they just weren't very flexible...

You could just take out the hooks, they're just screwed in and use velcro to tie the cables up neatly

The fans 'should' work out of the box though but they may spin faster than needed.... I had lian li fans (before swapping to noctua) and they did fire up before windows...

IIRC the control box will have a (single wire) fan cable which needs to go into the cpu header (important for pwm), plus usb header, power cable etc. So first question is, is it all wired up and pushed in properly etc?

If it's all wired up correctly, you could temporarily wire up the fans for the cpu cooler (or some random spare one) directly to the motherboard to check if the motherboard is sending a signal etc. Same option for one of those sata to fan header adapters to check the fans. Neither ideal for long term solution obviously.

I had to change my bios from dc to pwm on my board for some strange reason and while it never stopped my fans from working it might have an affect on yours.
Ah I have the wire from the fans going to a Sys fan header I'll switch it to CPU fan header and see if that gets it going. Thanks for the tip

I've just connected the AIO with the standard CPU fan header cable for now I also plugged In the RGB cable and they looked great. I can at least install Windows now have checked the Lian Li L connect software and the fans connected to the controller still aren't working. Could I have a broken controller or is there another cause. Thanks

Hi all solved the problem finally yesterday, believe it or not I had the fan connectors on the side of the fans all pushed on the wrong way round.
I thought they could only go on one way lol.
Switched them around and they are all working fine now.
Build is nearly complete just awaiting a 12vhpwr kit from Cablemods to finish the build off nicely and I'll be golden.
Thanks a lot for all your suggestions, I appreciate it
