Hey all..

Just had a lovely letter from my bank summarising the charges that they have landed on me over the last 6 months... the portly sum of around 100 nuggets!!

Now, the problem is that 02 have been taking 49.99 out of my acount since I started my contract.. 27 months ago. I know for a fact that in august i rang O2 enquiring about an upgrade from my now very near to death D500. They had nothing of interest in stock at the time so i agreed to leave it for a bit to wait for something I wanted.

However, to ease this, the folks at O2 told me that I was paying way too much for my contract, then nearly 2 years old, and was told it was being reduced to 30 per month.

So from then on i have been juggling money around to cover that in the form of a direct debit for 30 pounds from another account only to discover today that there simply aint been enough money in the account to cover the actual 49.99 O2 have been taking out. This in turn has caused these charges as i have steadily been going overdrawn once a month... so I is not too happy.

Anyone had similar and can anything be done about it??

p.s i know i should check i my account more often but i simply havent, me and cash have an odd relationship ; )
 
best option, tell o2 and ask 2 speak directly with a manager...don't even bother with the normal call centre guy's.

explain the situation and tell them that you want them to return the money they owe you and to pay the fee's for going over the over draft.

tell then that you will leave o2 and take further legal action if it is not resolved.

Well ok, i have been doing a MASSIVE 5000 PC roll out contract at one of the main O2 sites and TBH there is no "MANAGERS" they have *PODS* of arround 13 users and a *TEAM MANAGER* to each *POD*. i have seen it all over the past few weeks, some ppl help some dont. The way to go about it from what i can see at O2 is to ask to speak to "Cash Management" (@Preston Brook POD 120 - 135) and they should be able to sort it, unless there is a *Note* on your account there will be nothing they can do, i asked about a sim situation i had and unless they can see that on the *SYSTEM* your stuck with it, if you end up with nothing at the end of it all, the old faithful *I wish to cancle my contract /why.....\ because you ownd me, now sort it or i cancle:d*

that should do the trick...ask for the "Cash Management Department"/"payment department".
