Had the following e mail from 02. What does it mean
The way we use the internet is changing. We want to make sure you’re getting the best. So we’re upgrading our broadband network.
When?
We’ll be upgrading your area from 23/11/2012. On the day we upgrade your broadband, you’ll go offline for a little while. We’ll remind you the day before.
If you have a static IP address
After the upgrade, it will change. So you’ll need to update anything that uses your static IP details. Once we’ve finished the upgrade, we’ll email you your new address and info on what you need to do next.
If you have your own router
You might need to switch it off and on again.
But for now, you don’t need to do anything. We’ll remind you again just before we start the upgrade. And don’t worry, it won’t cost you anymore and your terms and conditions won’t change.
If you’d like to know more, go to o2.co.uk/networkchanges.
Kind regards,
