I have a 2g iphone that I am currently using with my vodafone sim, so has been quickpwn'd to unlock and jail break it.

Was looking at the £20 simplicity package with the unlimited web browsing on it. But the question is , would that work?

Also, would my iphone have to be unlocked how it is currently or because I have an 02 sim in it, will it be ok using it legit and downloading all the updates off of itunes?

Also, would it be possible to get the unlimited web browsing on the £15 package without paying £7.50 extra?

Hey,

I've got the exact same set up.

Yes it would work with the web browsing. 2G is extremely slow but then again it's better than nothing. Reception is great too :)

It wouldn't have to be unlocked and you'll be okay downloading the latest updates via itunes. However, you will no longer be pwned.

For your last question, no.

If you sign up for simplicity, don't forget to check out quidco for cashback.

Sorry to jump in here but i have a question. I am currently using a 2G iPhone with O2 simplicity.

Depends on your areas O2 coverage, I can only get EDGE in bits of South Liverpool and the city centre.

go on the bay, type "o2 iphone sim"
It has to be the one with "Red Star" on the envelope, you can get them from £12-£15.
They are the original o2 iphone 3g payg sim card, that they will give you when you purchase a iphone.
I been using this for 5 months now and i only have toped up twice.

this package will give you £10 calling credit + 12months of 3g/edge/wifi unlimited browsing* for free. no need to top up after months, just make sure you have £1.50 of balance to use the internet function. after end of 12 months you can buy another o2 iphone sim then keep your old mobile number.

*The wifi part means you can use The Cloud network for free when you in the The Cloud zone area and just type in your o2 mobile number to use their wifi.

Its not about where i can get EDGE because it happens everywhere that ive been in the last 6 months or so.

My settings are the same as whats in the sticky, yet i cannot get the internet via EDGE.
