Folks, I've been a smidge stupid, I'm not going to lie it was my fault. I was tinkering with my speedo, I had it out to trace a fault with some flickering dash lights. Mainly the door ajar & handbrake on lights.
In my haste, whilst dismantling, the cluster needles popped off inside the casing. All four of them, now I've got 3 back on & operating (coolant temp, revs & petrol) the speedo is the problem child. When I start the engine it drops low, wiggles a bit then doesn't move. Would I be better sourcing a 2nd hand replacement and switching the odometer over, or is there something I'm missing?
