That's what all manufacturers are doing now - they have a common "look" or "theme" and all their models are based around this. Ford now have this with the "kinetic" styling, all Audi cars have the same grill, as does Peugeot, Mitsubishi, etc.

It's a form of "brand awareness", similar to using the same logo across everything, they use a common "look" so you know from a quick glance what type of car it is.

I am interested in the first implementation of their "powershift" automatic (yes I know many will moan about driver involvement).

Looks promising even though they seem to have stolen the idea I am sure VAG won't mind, hopefully they can iron out the problems before my new company car choice has to be made.

Ahhh so this is why the ST production is stopping at the end of 07, looks ok, a touch interesting than my model tbh.

I wonder if they will do a RS now.

Oh and isnt this a bit soon for a new model, the MK2 only came out on 05?

Only confusion for me is:

Does look nice, didn't think the Focus was due a facelift for another year really, I like it though, nice mix of new Mondeo.

Probably has a shedload more torque on the 2.0l.

The rear is as bland as the current model, the front is looking abit Mazda 3..

Like quite a few of the new cars, it looks OK, but I'd never say it looks 'great'..

That Focus looks pretty good really.

If you want an Ugly car, just look at the E60 BMW 5 series. Ugly as sin. Of course it can be said that the E60 has very dramatic 'styling'. Still ugly in many peoples eyes

not the worst facelift, but by no means as good an update as the mk1 focus was.

sport version should be interesting at the front :]
