08 Focus headlight adjuster problem, help?

Quick question guys,

My mum's 08 focus has a headlight height adjuster in her car, but it only appears to adjust one headlight (the other one is permanently at the lowest setting).

Does anyone have an idea on how this can be fixed? I'm going to have a poke around when the frost clears, but seeing as you have to take the headlight unit out to change the bulb I hope something has just fallen out.

just stick in some HIDs, you'll be fine

Instead of faffing around I would take it to a dealer, doesn't sound like a simple fix unless there's a twig in there or something, but even then I wouldnt want the dealer blaming me for poking around as to why its not working

If it's an 08 it should be under warranty so take it to the dealer.

it doesn't, but then your mum will be able to blind everyone with badly adjusted HIDs like everyone else.

on a serious note, take it to a dealer.

I hasn't just frozen has it.

Maybe a connection off the motor has com off. Wonder if a mk1/mk2 leveler motor would be the same

Mum's decided to take it to the dealer as she too has realised it's still under warranty.
