0871 Numbers

I was under the impression that these are million pound a minute numbers, But I have got one to dial for customer service and it says toll free :confused:

are they lying or is it infact free.

Im trying to contact Megabus btw.

Think most of them are national rate. The only million pound a minute lines are 090

Didnt know it was an Issue? Changed it just in case it is

0871 call charges depend on the rest of the number afaik. Megabus - 0871 26... is a g7 (special service) number, and costs 10p per minute any time if you're with BT.

It used to star out the URL because OcUK use an 0845 number and they're on there. I'm assuming that because it's no longer censored then it's fine.
