0ne more ipod question

if i get an ipod can i save my mp3 music files directly to it? and more importantly, can i connect an ipod directly to my car stereo aux input?
i`ve been having a look at them but they don`t seem give you any info on connections and cables and stuff.

With the stock firmware you must use a program to update it. iTunes is the official program but there are loads of others, including Winamp.

Yes you can plug it directly into the aux input if you acquire an appropriate cable to suit your need.

More or less, open iTunes, drag MP3's over to the iPod area which will look similar to this:

and that's it.
