Can you get 0V - 12V Very powerfull 120mm fan?

Something like the Scythe GT 5400?

I have a 50w per channel 0-12v fan controller(Lamptron FC9)

Is it the startup volts that I need to worry about...?

Many thanks..

Fans don't tend to start up at small volts, such as 1 or 2. I think 4-5v is about the norm for starting voltage. On a 5400rpm fan the noise will be quite high even at the lowest running voltage. This will be because the motor will have to be larger to go all the way up to 5400.

So the fan controller is 0v-12v but you cant buy any 0-12v fans......thats a bit crap...

Cant have it all I suppose....I''ve been looking around for weeks for 4x 120mm fans for the side panel on mt 600t.

Well, you can't really expect a fan to start at 0.1V can you..

Many may run at 1 or 2v, but they'd need 5 or perhaps 6v to start them running
