0x80300001 - Error code when trying to install vista x64 to freshy formated HDD.

I have tried good but without much luck, I have a feeling it is to do with me having to hard reset my box and then formatting.

I have Downloaded Gparted and I am going to reformat with that to see if that helps.

Anyone else had this error before? Any ideas anyone?

For anyone who was interested, it turned out to be too many fingerprints on the disk. I now feel like an idiot for pulling my hair out earlier on.
