Hello,
I am looking to spend £1,000 on a machine which will be used for encoding video's, gaming and also streaming media to my PS3.
I would like to overclock but i thought as this is the first machine i've built that it would be easier buying the pre clocked setup?
Also, what cooling measures might be worth taking into considering if i'd be running the system at 4ghz. I hear the Corsair H50-1 is a great option?
I've looked at the following components, are these a good choice or is there anything i've missed or worth changing?

i7 bundle including Corsair H50-1 - £600
Sapphire HD 5850 - £229.99
Corsair HX 750W - £117.99
Coolermaster CM-690 II Advanced Dominator Case - £85.99
Samsung F3 1TB - £64.99
Sony Optiarc AD-5240S - £16.99
Arctic Cooling MX-3 - £6.99

Thanks for any advice.

Fantastic. I did read about the 930 but due to it being a new chip and the first revision I thought it would be a safer bet with the D0 revision of the 920?

Okay great. So, I guess I will be ordering those components tomorrow! Is it worth buying anymore fans to help the H50 or are the standard ones more than capable?
Seeing as this is my first build are there any cables or accessories I need for use now or future use?
I think that's all the questions I have for now ha, thanks.

I won't be ordering until tomorrow. The reason why I thought i'd have the PSU greater than I really need at the moment is future expansion, I have a tendency to fill quite a lot of HDD space rather quickly so I'm looking to purchase a few more TB drives.

I'm running 1650 x 1080 so the 5850 seemed more than adequate for my needs?

Okay i'll look at changing to a 650w PSU as that does make sense panta. It would seem the ASUS 5850 card is out of stock and available for pre-order, would it be worth waiting for this model because of the overclocking warranty or just to pick the cheapest card in stock?
