I've just got my iPhone how I want it, with my apps etc installed. Is it worth the hassle of reinstalling everything to upgrade to 1.1.3? As far as I can tell, the only things of interest are the jiggly icons (can do with customize) and SMS to more than one person.

Anything I've missed?

Cheers

The maps locate me feature doesn't work properly on 1.1.3.

Reckon I'll stick with 1.1.2 for now, doesn't seem like I'm missing anything.

By the way, I'm loving this thing. Was a bit dubious about whether it was worth the extra considering what I'd lose on my Touch, but it's ace. It's amazing how much difference just having a bloody speaker makes !

The maps locate me feature doesn't work properly on 1.1.3.

Did when I used an O2 sim whilst jailbroken, but not with T-Mob.

However, with my T-Mob sim, if I run the LocateMe program (from the installer) once, then the feature works within maps every time until I switch the phone off.

Customise is the reason i'm still on 1.1.2, unless anyone knows any other way to get a 5 icon dock on 1.1.3-1.1.4?

I've upgraded mine to 1.1.4. It's just a one click process to activate+jailbreak+unlock

It's an easy process and I prefer 1.1.4 to 1.1.3 and 1.1.2, less buggy, better battery life and is definitely quicker.

But I can understand if you want to hold out for a Customise update.

Well when you update, its best to do a hard restore which would remove all third party apps. You would have to install them again.
