Would I be right in thinking that monitors that can do 1:1 pixel mapping in hardware (Dell 3008WFP etc) tend to be 'laggier' because of this feature?

I'm curious as i'm wondering if this is how the Hazro 30" manages to have really quick response times (as it has no hardware pixel mapping).

Plus - is software pixel mapping any good, or total pants compared to it being done in hardware?

Yeah that's pretty much what i meant :D

Does the scaler cause lag even when it's not being used? Because the 3008 seems to have pathetic lag (60ms @ 2650x1600) compared to Hazro (~7.5ms @ 2560x1600).

Also, would the Hazro look noticeably worse than the Dell if I was to say, connect an Xbox and use 1920x1080 ?
