1:1 Pixel Mapping (nvidia control panel) Dell E228WFP 22

Hi,

how do you enable pixel mapping on the Nvdia control panel?

I have a new Dell E228WFP 22" Widescreen and want to play some old games at unsupported resolutions eg: 1280 x 1024 but without stretching the screen.

Does my monitor actually support pixel mapping?

Cheers.

i think you just have to run it at the highest resolution your monitor supports for the image to not appeared stretched

i have an e228wfp as well. i cant get scaling to work my with gtx but i haven't tried the latest drivers. the tft itself does not have any provision for 1:1 mapping. so if its going to be done it has to be done by the card. im just about to try the new drivers

the option is in the Nivida driver software, but not sure if it works on the E228WFP or not (sounds like perhaps it doesnt). Have a look in settings > Sscreen resolutions & refresh rates section > "advanced timing" > display adapter scaling options

Centred Output and fixed aspect scaling have been broken in some of the latest driver releases. Try 100.87 it works fine with my FPW 3007
