1/10 scale RC - Vw beetle shell on Tamiya M-06

My little bro spoiled me for my 40th and bought me an RC kit... Havent done this in nearly 25 years so a bit rusty but just about built now.

No hopups for now, other than proper bearings and some better looking wheels.

Fortunatly my other hobbie (classic car restoration) means I know how to spray

And finished for now:

Stuck a good quality LIPO in there and it goes very well. Need to solve an issue with the servo arm popping off but other than that she drives very nicely.


Anyone else play with RC's?

Looks great.

I'm a big RC fan. Race them and collect them. Just came back from taking one of my race cars B74 to Kiev and a heavily modified CC01 Lada to Chernobyl.

I have a tamiya m05 with the old mini shell and it's great fun. Need to get it out more really!
