Hi there, looking to build my first gaming computer next month with about £1,100 budget (my laptop just isn't the same anymore as having a desktop). Within my budget I'd like to include some peripherals as well, good quality mouse, mechanical keyboard and 22" monitor (around that size, open to getting bigger if people recommend it). I'm not interest in overclocking the system as I'm very new to the whole idea and would prefer to spend the budget elsewhere. The main game that I'll play on the system is League of Legends but may play a bit of BF3, minecraft and such.

My original plan is to spend about (if others advice differently then I'm open to changing it):

£60 ~ mouse
£110 ~ keyboard
£180 ~ monitor
£750 ~ computer

Only other component is that I was hoping to use my current TV monitor as a 2nd monitor for my new computer, I currently use an HDMI cable to link my laptop to it if I want to watch something on a larger screen.

Thanks for all your help, I know I'm obviously very new to the forums but any advice is really appreciated.

I think you aren't allowed to sell that here If I'm right. Don't you need like 250 posts or something to gain access to the trade forum?

Although I'm sure you're being sincere Gazz224317 I'm looking to buy the parts new (to have the assurance of warranty etc) and build the computer myself, sorry.

Here you go... if you don't want to take gazz's offer (which isn't allowed here apart from in the Members Market)

Edit: I won't recommend any specific mouse/kb as I haven't had much experience apart from Razer, which I love personally, but I've included an SSD, a TB hard drive, a nice solid power supply and an overclockable processor and powerful graphics card :) i'm sure other people will come up with some decent specs for that kind of money.

Edit2: If you want an AMD card (I would personally go for one)

Its 1000 posts and you have to have been on the forum for over 180 days.

The members market is provided as a free service to active and contributing forum members. OcUK are not liable for any deals that are done in the Members Market, you are free to buy and sell at your own risk. Please read the rules of the Members Market before you proceed to make your first sale.

Access to the Members Market forum requires two things. Firstly, you will need to have over 1000 posts and have been signed up for at least 180 days. Please note that this does not mean you spam the forums simply to increase your posts, as this action will result in posts being deducted, and if you continue this behaviour, your account will eventually be banned/suspended. Once you reach 1000 posts, you will need to activate your trust. The Trust system is for Members Market feedback only and not to be used for general user comments. Abusing the trust system will not be tolerated and such abuse will result in your account being suspended/ banned. Trust activation is either found in your UserCP, or you can press the trust button that appears at the bottom of all your posts.

Once you satisfy both of these criteria, Members Market access will be granted within 24hrs. Please do not post on the forums asking why you cannot access the members market, if you have any queries, email one of the forum Dons/Admins. The contact addresses are available in the FAQ. There is no buying, or selling allowed outside of the Members Market.

Haswell is due on 4th June. It's a new socket with lower power consumption a better IGP and a little more ooompf than Ivy.

Maybe you'd like to check out (reviews of) monitors, peripherals, SSDs, GPUs etc etc whilst you wait on the new mobos and CPUs to be released?
