1.25 Fiesta Cold Starting

Hi,

Small problem with my girlfriend's car: Starting from cold - It takes quite a while to start, but does eventually fire.

Any ideas? Its a 1.25 Fiesta on an R plate. I was thinking maybe plugs and leads?

im assuming it has an imoboliser in the key (chip) try giving that 1 or 2 small taps to make sure its finding it, highly unlucky its that but hey its easy to try

the engine turns over, its just not firing

So plugs first?
