1 360, 2 profiles and 1 saved game

I'm at the missus' place with a copy of Fallout but not my HDD. If I create a new profile here and then copy the save game over to my HDD later, I won't get my achievements on my original profile will I? Any way around this ?

if the 360 is connected to Live, just recover your gamer tag. this will basically download your profile to that 360. but bare in mind that if you do this, you'll then have to recover it on your 360 at home again before you use it

alternativly, buy a memory card and save your game/profile on that then simply take that with you when you go to your missus' place

Can you recover your gamertag onto your girlfriends 360? Then you'll get your achievements and the save will be to your profile then?

You usually can't transfer saves between profiles, and part of the Microsoft Certification process involves ensuring that you can't gain any achievments with progress made on another profile.

As said, just recover your profile, or get a Memory Unit and stick your profile on that.

Thanks for the replies. It's not on Live so that's a no go unfortunately.
