1.8V with 2.1V

I am mid way through a build and stupidly i bought some ram without looking at the voltage.

My current ram is 1.8V however i bought a Corsair xms2 800mhz 2.1V stick

Is there a way to use them both together, when i tried just putting them both in together (before i realised) it just didn't go past the bios.
can i raise the timing on the corsair and then put that down to 1.8?

higher timings may let u lower the voltage.

Or do you think that making the other sticks 2.1V would be better?

Most DDR2 sticks will probably be ok on 2.1V. If it were me, I'd put 'em on ebay and try again though.

Actually I'd try 'em all on 2.0V and see if they all pass MemTest. If not then slacken the timings a bit and try again.

Cheers for the info, i'll give it a try in the morning would i have to change the other settings ?
