hi ive got a core2duo E6600
Ive been away for the weekend (computer was left running) and now it seems that i have no activity from 1 of the cores. Ive run TAT and it shows the speed of both cores but temp of only 1 and also my gadget it vista is only showing the use of 1 core
Is it possible for 1 core to die and the other to keep running or is this motherboard related or Vista related

i had done a selective driver boot and that seemed to be the problem
