1 day old xbox 360 has stopped reading disks

AS above. I dont get any errors.

All I did was move it.

No I didnt drop it, or anything.

I was gonna say sommit but i am getting to cheeky in my old age and must stop.

Did you move it whilst it was reading a disk? because if the disk was spinning the 360 will hack the disk to bits.

and is it just games or does it not read dvd's and cd's neither?

it comes on and signs into live just not read any disks?

Moved it from horizontal to vertical, now its telling me to clean the disk. Its bloody new.

It's a faulty drive on the Xbox360, my mates just handed his 2nd Xbox360 in after putting up with it for 10 months (his LD console also had the problem).

He plugged his 3rd one in yesterday and got the E74 error (AV error), worried it was his Box (cable was clearly fine as he'd used it for 11 months) he handed that in too for another one today. He said his current one has been faultless thus far. GAME also gave him a new reciept and new 12month warrenty.

could have been dropped , bashed etc before you bought it

hmm Swap the VGA cable back to the std HD cable that came with the console.

And it works again.

I have a DELL 2407. So whats wrong.

Well I swapped them back and now the VGA works. ????

But I thought you could select HD on VGA, but all I can is resalutions.

Its faulty, just return it and get a new one.

My one went wrong after 72 hours, took it back and thankfully its been fine ever since.
