Hi,

I have a weird problem I moved to the US and things like my UK PayPal and Apple account already use my email address craig.smith365 so I cannot reuse it. How can I get a second address for that account or add something like a .US prefix or suffix so that it will look different but deliver to the same inbox? I really could do without another email account.

Thanks.

Are you using a google apps type google account or the regular consumer type? The former would be with your own domain name, i.e. craig.smith365 @ yourdomain .com or the latter would be username @ gmail .com. (without spaces of course)

I don't understand why you can't have everything coming to the same address if that's how you want it.

Are you basically trying to create US accounts for both PayPal and Apple, but can't since your email is already used by their UK counterparts?

Might be best to create another email account, most Google services supports multiple logins so you can be logged into both. Alternatively, get the new email to foward every mail to your main account. Or just use an email client like Thunderbird to view both inboxes at the same time...

Or maybe contact the companies to see if you can convert your UK accounts to US accounts.

Yeah this is my problem, trying to find a way around it without having to create a new email address.
